I am starting over. Though I have not really started at all, I have decided to scrap virtually every idea that I have had and begin anew. Starting with bringing back some of my old hobbies, like photography and graphic arts. I have also recently started learning more about film editing, and movie making. I especially like creating special FX (matting, keying, etc.). I hope to use this forum to share some of the work I have done, both in the past, and currently.
Along the way I will share many stories through pictures and video. I hope to help, inspire, and be criticized (constructively please!) The best way to learn is to teach, so I will be doing some of that as well. I am a self taught baker, with a "knack" for breads. Over time I will share my recipes, most of which are based on European recipes. I hope you will enjoy them.
I really just wanted to jot down a quick note about this blog, hoping to attract some visitors, followers, and the curious. I know that this is not much of a beginning post, but...we all need to start somewhere.
Here's a picture to get things started.
This is a picture of my Herbed Twist bread. It was taken just after it came out of the oven. This is based on an Italian Stirato recipe, to which I added Basil, Dill, and some Oregano. I gave the bread a twist before rising. This has become one of my family's favorites.
